All Things Mean All Things

Quick story: I was asked to do something and do not have the know how at all to do it. I began to feel overwhelmed. I sat down and God reminded me that I can do all things through Him. So because I have Him, I have access to His God given wisdom. I asked how, and He literally walked me through the process. So is there anything we can’t do? I don’t think so! We limit ourselves and train ourselves to think we can only do so much. Remove the labels you’ve placed on yourself and watch God do the impossible through you.

A special thanks to my sister for the conversation and confirmation.

Can You Hear Him Now?

As I was riding in the car with a 4 year, His little eyes spotted a Toys R Us.

“Toys R Us”, he screams.

I responded with, “I see it. But it’s closed.”

He says, “No, they will open on Sunday.”

I let him know that they aren’t open anymore and won’t open again. He would not accept what I was saying. Here I am, older and wiser trying to explain the cause of Toys R Us closing. He still didn’t want to hear me. How often do we cut God off. Here He is with His infinite power and great wisdom. But we act like we know it all. We insist on getting our point across and block out what God is saying. If we can just get in our heads that God’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher too. He knows things that we don’t. Way more! So the next time God try’s to tell you something, listen. He’s speaking now. Are you listening?

What is God directing you to do?

  1. Speak His Word.
  2. Meditate on His Word day and night.
  3. Do what is written.
  • Doing these things will lead to prosperity and success. You’ll receive both spiritual gain and earthly riches.
  • Remember:
  • Speak the Word+Meditate on the Word+Do the Word= Prosperity and Success
  • This is the plan. It’s fool proof.

  • “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

  • Living righteously

Living righteously allows us to walk in protection, provision, authority, life, diligently, abundantly, in freedom, joyfully, fruitfully, progressively, with strength, with patience, and with endurance. We long to hear the voice of God throughout our days. But the wicked do not seek to hear His voice or correction. The wicked walk according to flesh and fulfilling the lusts of flesh. The outcome is death. Living in correction brings honor. God brings correction to those He loves. He loves us enough to save us from the trap of death. So let us listen to the voice of God as He instructs us in our daily lives. This instruction births wisdom.

How will you walk in wisdom today?

    Ways of Wisdom

    • Wisdom walks in prudence. Thinking thoughtfully through our daily lives.
    • Wisdom was used in the process of God creating the world. How beautiful would our personal lives be if we walked in wisdom as well?
    • Wisdom travels with riches and honor. They are a group of best friends. Attach yourself to wisdom and you will be attached to riches and honor too.
    • Listen to wisdom as it cry’s out at the gate (start) of your journey and wisdom will continue to speak and guide you, giving you life. Refuse it and death will come.

    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭8:1-36‬ ‭NIV
“Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: “To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness. All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge. Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power. By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. “The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works,, before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be. When there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before he made the world or its fields or any of the dust of the earth. I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind. “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death.””

    Wisdom calling out

    Follow me.

    Yeah you.

    On the path of righteousness.

Let me lead you down the road of life.

I am wisdom. Hear me call.

When you hear me answer the phone.

I am on the side of fear and reverence of the Lord.

Your almighty King waits for you to be restored.

Through me you will live a long life.

    Through me you have protection.

So reach out as I call.

    Take heed to my voice.

I am here to help you live.

I am here to guide and lead.

    Listen up to my advice.

Then apply it to your life.

Wondering how you can obtain riches?

That’s in me too. I hold that in my left hand.

So hold onto me and don’t loose your grip.

    I promise I won’t let you slip.

Remaining under the arc of safety is easy when you are living by my instruction.

“Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.”

    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

    What Luke 1 Teaches Us.

***PLEASE READ LUKE CHAPTER 1 BEFORE READING THIS POST***

What can we learn from Luke 1?

    • The Word of God will never fail. People will fail us. We may fail ourselves. Our jobs and this world will fail us, but the Word of God will NEVER fail. It will prosper! If there is no failure in the Bible, why do we question it? We have seen the Word of God come alive in our lives on many occasions. What makes us think it will fail us now? Has God changed? Nope! He remains the same. And guess what? His Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. There is no failure in His Word.
    • Because of Zechariah’s obedience to Gods will, he was immediately blessed and received His voice back. Immediately. We know that following the will of God isn’t always easy, but we can see that there are blessings attached to obedience. Not only was he blessed to receive his voice, but Johns life can now fulfill the will of God because of his fathers obedience. When we are obedient, the blessings flow to those around you as well. Your church, home, children, job. Blessings will flow to everything that is connected to you, even strangers. Be obedient. Reap the blessings.
    • Verse 45 shows us that faith makes things possible. Believing that God will do what He said is key! Our words create our world. Imagine the world that you would create for yourself if you spoke and stood on the Word of God and believed God is truly able to do EVERYTHING. What would happen if we stood on His Word and didn’t allow people or things to shift our thoughts from Him? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The more we read, the more our faith will come alive. Use your faith to change your life and access your blessings.

Johns life was predestined while in His mothers womb. But because His father was obedient, he was now able to walk out his purpose in life. This probably wouldn’t have been if He was named anything else. There is purpose attached to you. Once you accepted Christ into your life, you became a new creature in Him. Your old self was put off and you were made new. Now Christ’s name is attached to you and His power is in you. You can walk confidently in your purpose.

Moral of the story? Be obedient to the voice of God. ❤️

Tell me, what did you take from the story written in Luke 1? I would love to hear. Please comment. 😊
