Heal Me, Please!

There is no hurt or pain too deep that God can’t heal.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Today’s affirmation

Today I will walk in forgiveness.

I will accept Gods forgiveness.

I will forgive others.

I will forgive myself.

““If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Prayers of the Righteous

I pray for those who need strength. God will carry you. For those who need peace. Gods Joy will overwhelm you. For those who need comfort. God will hold you. For those who need power. God will go before you. For those who need love. God will invade your heart. For those in need. God will supply. For those who are hurting. God will reverse the pain. For those who need healing. Gods healing virtue will flow. For those who need wisdom. You ask and He will give. For those who walk in fear. Gods power, love, and sound mind be with you. For those in debt. Cancellation notices will delivered to you. For those who need help. God be your ever present help. For those who need a decision to be made. God will lead. For those who have trust issues. That God will show you how to trust again. I pray that His power, strength,, protection, mercy, and grace be with you as you travel through those day. In Jesus name. Amen❤️

Ephesians 6:18-19

So…you got this one, eh?

Why do we choose to take matters into our own hands? Why do we say, “Take a coffee break, Jesus. I have this one under control.” We forcefully take whatever we placed in His hands back. We send Him to our other issue(s) and keep this particular one because we feel we can handle it, it’s not that serious to give to God, or we are tired of waiting on God to work and think we can make things happen faster.

Let’s think for a moment. In life, we all have tried to fix one thing or another. When we did, we failed. Or we temporarily fixed the issue with our solution. I remember getting having an issue with my radiator in my car. It had a leak which caused my fluid to leak. Fixing it was about $350. I didn’t have that at the time. So I spoke to some people and they recommended putting an adhesive fluid in my radiator that will flow through and attach itself to the issue. If this worked, the leak would be fixed. But only for a moment. It would just buy me time until I replaced the radiator. But if I chose this route, the fluid of course doesn’t just stay in radiator, but the fluid will flow through the system. Now I would risk clogging up other parts of my car because of my quick and easy patch work.

Can you see where this is going? Taking the situation from God to fix it yourself will cause other areas in your life to be affected. Not only is your faith in God now rocky, but your trust is shaky. Your determination is now depleting. Your destiny has now taken a back seat to your now. We take our eyes off of the bigger picture to “fix” our now. By patching up our now, we hinder the blessing from flowing to our future.

The Bible says, “to acknowledge Me in all of your ways and I will direct your path. “It also reads, “cast all your cast into me.” The keys Word in both these verses is all. Not some. Not only the “big” things. Not just things that seem out of your reach. But ALL. Why does He want all of your ways and cares? Because His thoughts and ways are so much higher than ours could even be. His wisdom is too great. If we need to have surgery, we go to the hospital and lay down on the bed so the doctor can work on our bodies. But first they put us to sleep. Imagine taking the scalpel from the doctor while saying “I got this”. No you don’t have this. You will bleed to death if you make the wrong incision. Because you have no idea what you’re doing. The doctor has the schooling and knowledge to know that where they need to cut here. I need to do xyandz to fix this problem and make this person healthier.

So I say all of this to say, let God reign freely in your life. He has everything under control. Trusting Him is the best thing you can do in your life. He is God. A God that is able to do above all you can ask or think.

One Word: Perfect

As I watched the sunset on January 31st, I couldn’t help but see the perfection of His beauty. I thought over my first month of 2018. Everyday was perfect. So my perfect days led to a perfect month. Gods glory was truly shown to me. His faithfulness was seen throughout the month. His beauty was radiating through the moments of each day. I rose with a will to seek Him. What I found was love, peace, joy, blessings galore, hope, love (can I say that twice?), obedience, sacrifice, ministry, perfecting of faith, abundance, and more. I found that when I am obedient to His will, I give God the opportunity to do the unexpected. What I found in my month, was being in His perfect will created perfect days which formed a perfect month.

This Thing Called Religion

The only life that I want to live is a life that’s pleasing to Christ. One filled with malice, maliousiness, twofaceness, and hate just isn’t right. The life that I live on social media must match my reality. That’s important to me. Some say, Jess you take this thing to seriously. No, I act like this “thing” is important to me. I rather be known as the prayerful, loving, Jesus giving girl. Then the one that cursed someone without a care. Maybe if enough of us took this “thing” a little more seriously, the hurt and lost would be more willing to listen. But right now, all they see is the church being the world’s equal. Instead of the church without a spot or a wrinkle.
Give Jesus. The people need Him.

God has the juice

Quick story…
My 2 year old niece stayed the night with me. Like most toddlers, she took over the bed and invaded my space. lol. I slid her over to her side multiple times. But the last time I moved her little body, she opened her pretty eyes to look for me. She stretched out her hand and moved back over towards me. What I then realized was that she didn’t just accidentally wander to my side, it was more than that. She wanted to be held. She wanted to be close. Maybe she just wanted to feel loved? Maybe she felt protected? Whatever she longed for, she knew that I had it.
Long story short….GOD HAS WHAT YOU NEED!
I began to think, how often does God try to get our attention? How much would He love for us to just stop what we are doing and reach out to Him? Run to Him? Love on Him? Cry out to Him? Worship Him?
HE HAS WHAT WE NEED.
Get into His presence.

Worship.

Pray.

Fast.

Cry out.

Read the Bible.
Peace and Blessings.

A work to be done

There’s a work to be done. A great work to be done. devil out here waring on souls. Not playing fair at all. He is out to seek all whom he can devour. But ourGod is bigger than every attack. We must attract the Spirit. Stay with us. Show love to those who are feeling stuck. Let go of the egos and the way you think it should be done. Souls are remaining in bondage because they are not proper enough when they enter the church. It’s amazing how when they come in, we judge. What they are wearing has suddenly become more important than what they are wearing. Do you get it? I’m not talking about clothing. I’m talking about masks. I’m talking about how they just sold their bodies for cash. I’m talking about the addictions you can smell they have. I’m talking about the bruise on their calf. They claimed to have fallen down the steps. You quickly move on because it’s time for offering. But you should be offering your heart and helping hand. But we say I will pray for you and never do. Think about how this soul may be depending on you. Give your time and stop turning your back on folks. You think you’ll make it into heaven to find your access has been revoked. We must do better as a people. We must start spreading the love we were commissioned to give. And stop picking and choosing who we give it to. What if God did that to you? Lets fulfill this mission keeping God on our minds. Let’s give Him our time. May He lead us to the souls that are dying. Lord, have your way. Work.

“If You Faint Not…”

There are times I want to give up. There are times I want to scream. There are times I don’t understand. There are times I question. But my Holy Ghost won’t let me quit. He won’t let me throw in the towel. He won’t let me give up. For I am His and He is mine. This song has gotten me through those times I was almost completely over it….including today. The name of the song is “Oceans (Where feet may fail)”.

Here are the lyrics ⬇️ :

You call me out upon the waters

The great unknown where feet may fail

And there I find You in the mystery

In oceans deep

My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name

And keep my eyes above the waves

When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace

For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters

Your sovereign hand

Will be my guide

Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me

You’ve never failed and You won’t start now

So I will call upon Your name

And keep my eyes above the waves

When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace

For I am Yours and You are mine

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior

I will call upon Your name

Keep my eyes above the waves

My soul will rest in Your embrace

I am Yours and You are mine
