Are you strong and courageous?

Are you being strong and courageous or are you being weary and unstable? This was a question for me first. I had to answer it when God brought me to Joshua 1:18. As I read, I realized that in my disobedience I am dying and those I’m destined to reach will die. Because God placed me strategically among people to bring deliverance and healing. And He’s done the same for you. So when we are being weary and unstable, the enemy is coaching us to stay as such. Why? Because if you are discouraged, you won’t walk strongly and courageous after the things God needs you to do. His will MUST be done in you. And not just for your sake, but for the souls you are destined to touch. No pressure. Because aren’t we just doing what God called us to do? So don’t be weary. Be strong. Be courageous. Be who God called you to be in Him.

“Whoever rebels against your word and does not obey it, whatever you may command them, will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous!””

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Will You Be Called Wise?

Will you walk in wisdom?

Will you experience its benefits?

Will you listen and be obedient to the voice of God?

Will you hear His voice through His Word?

Will you find the fear of the Lord?

Will you hear the voice of wisdom loud and clear?

Will you gain that the understanding and knowledge that it brings?

Will you be saved from wickedness as you go throughout your life?

Will you find success and walk blessedly with wisdom?

Will you be called wise because you chose to listen to wisdom?

Proverbs 2

What is God directing you to do?

  1. Speak His Word.
  2. Meditate on His Word day and night.
  3. Do what is written.
  • Doing these things will lead to prosperity and success. You’ll receive both spiritual gain and earthly riches.
  • Remember:
  • Speak the Word+Meditate on the Word+Do the Word= Prosperity and Success
  • This is the plan. It’s fool proof.

  • “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

    Freedom to Worship

For those who don’t know, I no longer work a 9-5. God allowed me to leave my job on May 26, 2017. I no longer have to clock in and be on someone else’s time. I have the freedom to spend the day how I want. Which is normally Spirit led. I didn’t want to go into this new season being irresponsible. I want my days to be lived with purpose and in purpose. I wanted every move to be intentional. I must be a good steward over this season. So I acknowledge God in all my ways so that He will direct my path. This scripture has become my testimony. And since I released my will to Him, my days are oozing goodness and mercy. It’s drenched in greatness and favor.
I speak abundance, yes. God showed me that I can have abundance in all areas of my life and there are different types. This season brought an abundance of freedom. But can I share one thing that I am most thankful for? The fact that if I want to drop to my knees and pray, I can. If I want to have a moment of worship right where I am, I can. I no longer have to sneak to the bathroom to praise. I no longer have to keep my music at a “whisper”. Whenever I have to urge to lift my hands, I can do this. And for this I am so very grateful! I love Jesus!!
I encourage you to continue to speak or start speaking Gods word over your life. He absolutely honors His Word!
Much peace and many blessing to you❤️

    a touchy subject

these are the various emotions that happen throughout the course of a day. you know the day your loved one is put to rest. how can one possibly deal with such a wide range of emotions in a 12 hour period?

how? with the help of Jesus and their loved ones.

we have all experienced the death of a loved one at one point in life.  the one thing that keeps us going is the support of our family and friends.  we sometimes ask “what can I possibly do to console him/her?”.  i know the feeling. since i’ve been on both sides of the fence, i know a little bit (very little actually) of how to handle this unfortunate event.

the best thing you can do is pray for the family. God is the ultimate comforter.  there is no sorrow on earth that heaven can’t heal.

after prayer, just being there for them means the world.  even if you sit in silence.  for them to know that you’re available means the world to them.  knowing that you’re available for them to talk until their heart is content is needed. they may already feel lonely, so having someone there by their side to sit, talk, hug, comfort, watch movies, or just cry is a huge deal.

don’t take for granted how just your presence can make a whirl of a difference.

the next step is just as important….follow up!

don’t assume that just because it’s been a few months or even a year that that person is ok.  everyone heals at their own rate.  there will still be times when your “how are you feeling” or  “lets grab lunch” will mean everything to the person that lost a loved one.  be sure to keep in touch and offer a friendly smile more often than none.

for if any other reason….your day will come when you wished you had someone in your corner to do the same for you.

remember, its a blessing to be a blessing.

*this was written because ive heard at least 5 people that are connected to me somehow pass away this month.  death is a touchy subject, but i felt led to write about this subject tonight. i pray this helps someone. remember ….follow up.

if you’re reading this and you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, there’s no better time like the present to invite Him into your heart and life. if you’d like to do this now, genuinely and sincerely pray this prayer…

    Lord Jesus,
I truly believe that You are the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You and cannot save myself. Please forgive my wrongdoing and let me live in a relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior and believe that You have died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead and are alive and can hear my prayers. I invite You to rule in my life and in my heart from this day forward. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Thank You for saving me.
    In Jesus’ name,
