He Knows My Name

I’m in one of my moods where I want to talk, but I don’t have anything to say. So who do I call? And when I call will they answer? What will we talk about? These are a few questions that run through my head. I wanted to interact without the interaction. Is that possible? Lol. But I heard a voice as I was trying to figure out my life.

“Me”

It was so soft and gentle. Sure I had spent time with Christ today. But He clearly wanted more of me. And who better to chat with and can handle my current mood than Christ?

I whispered back, ” You want to spend time with me?”

He responds, “I do.”

It was so unexpected yet expected. He knows my heart. He knows my desires. He knows how to deal with me. God knows what makes me smile.

So I say “peace out” to the world to say “hello” to my Savior.

Let’s Chat

Are you worried?

Are you Gods child?

Do you believe in His Word?

Do you believe He will come through?

So I ask again, are you worried?

Why?

God has this wonderful thing that He does. He provides for His people. We are to trust Him and let Him handle the details. Worrying doesn’t add a single hour to your day. And let’s be honest, if we had a 25th hour, it would most likely be spent worrying too.

So what is it that you need God to do?

Ok, now what is it that you have to do?

You must first eliminate worry and focus on His Word (trust). Speak His Word over your life (faith). Seek Him (pray). After you have done this listen (direction). Move according to His instruction which is always a peaceful, stress free, worry free, trustful, and doubt free road to provision and promise.

Remember: God will be God

Proverbs 8

As I read through Proverbs 8 with my study group this morning, God raised this question:

How can you tell the difference between whether wisdom or flesh is speaking?

Read Proverbs 8:6-7 to assist you.

“Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭8:6-7‬ ‭NIV
