Heal Me, Please!

  • This Week

    God gave me some scriptures to hold onto and to apply to each moment of the day. I’ll share them with you. These scriptures will help me to have a successful day which will lead to a successful and peaceful week. I will meditate on them day and night. I will speak them. I will put them into practice.

    Ephesians 5:1-20 Prayer

    Jesus, help me to follow Your example. To walk in love at all times. Help me to sacrifice myself and give myself to others as You did for me on the cross. Please purify me; my heart, mind, body, and motives. Take out anything that isn’t like You. Help my words to be pleasing to Your ears. May they build up those I speak to and about and not tear them down. Help me to always be thankful. Jesus help me to keep You first and not put anyone or anything before You. Help me to be wise and walk according to Your guidance and wisdom. Keep my company honest and may they have good motives. Please teach me Your will so that I can walk it out obediently and live a righteous life. Keep me out of the company of those who are disobedient. Help me to have holy boldness and speak truth at all times. Jesus, thank You for every opportunity. Help me to make the most of them all. Fill me with Your Spirit. I need You. I thank You.     What a great reminder-Proverbs 3:1-10

    What I was reminded of is pretty simple. As I read through Proverbs 3:1-10, I’m reminded that my faithfulness and obedience to Gods Word and His Kingdom will produce promises. When I obey His commands, I attach myself to long life, peace, and prosperity. Who doesn’t desire these things? So you mean to tell me, they automatically attach themselves to me when I obey God?! That’s an extremely fair trade off. You mean to tell me that trusting God will put me on a straight path? I don’t need to try to figure out my life because God’s promise to give me straight paths will set my life up for greatness?! Yeah, with promises like that from a God who is able to perform awesome wonders, I’ll stay on the road of obedience for life. It’s well worth it. Don’t you think so too ? So keep the faith. You’re right where God needs you. Stay faithful and obedient to His Word.


    “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.     Gods Will Be done

    Wondering how you can live in the will of God? 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 gives up a clue on how. We need to:

      Rejoice always -v16
      Pray continually-v17
      Give thanks in everything-v18
  • These three things will jumpstart your walk in God will. Practicing these daily will keep us lifted, guided, and thankful. Imagine practicing these things before complaining and becoming frustrated with life? How pleased would God be? I will try to keep this list before me today as I go through the day. Will you join me?

  • Solomon’s Prayer

    1 Kings 8:56-60 gives us a great example of prayer. It teaches us what to pray for. Here’s an outline of Solomon’s prayer:

    1. Gods presence -v57
    2. Desire to do Gods will in everything -v58
    3. Help with each days need -v59
    4. Desire and ability to obey Gods decrees and commands -v58
    5. Spread of Gods kingdom to the entire world -v60

    “Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses. May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in obedience to him and keep the commands, decrees and laws he gave our ancestors. And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, that he may uphold the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel according to each day’s need, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other.”

    Living righteously

    Living righteously allows us to walk in protection, provision, authority, life, diligently, abundantly, in freedom, joyfully, fruitfully, progressively, with strength, with patience, and with endurance. We long to hear the voice of God throughout our days. But the wicked do not seek to hear His voice or correction. The wicked walk according to flesh and fulfilling the lusts of flesh. The outcome is death. Living in correction brings honor. God brings correction to those He loves. He loves us enough to save us from the trap of death. So let us listen to the voice of God as He instructs us in our daily lives. This instruction births wisdom.
